Only 18 more day's until my birthday !!!!! Sorry , I'm just so exited about starting to babysit!!!!! I have been waiting to babysit since my older brother(Jordan)took His babysitting
coarse . Last summer I took mine , I couldn't wait till I was old enough to babysit now finally the time has come !!!!! I know I mentioned this briefly two post's back . Also I changed my name , it is still spelt the same but pronounced differently it sounds kind of like this Elijah .

Did I just write a whole paragraph about me!!!!!

If you don't know my computer broke down so I couldn't write on my blog . (I sure missed everyone)But I'm back!!!!!!

So many things have happened since I last wrote (were do I start).The shift conference went on at my church , Leeland came they have a big heart for God , I had an awesome experience at there concert , God was moving in that room . I can't wait till my birthday on April 16Th because I can start babysitting (ya,I love kids)I have taken st.john's babysitting course and a little of Red Cross to and I can't wait to start actually babysitting .
The Nails is coming up on April 5Th & 6Th (I can't wait)I am doing make-up & sewing & acting for it .

Fiona spoke about fear on Sunday , she was awesome and you can listen to the podcast on Jolgens website . Someone blessed me with an awesome bible , it is so nice , and I changed my name!!!

It seems all I hear about anymore is facebook , like everyone is on it now , it's so funny watching my mom try to use it when she doesn't know how L.O.L!!!!!Do any of you guys have face book ?

Faith is putting your trust in something or someone wholly without fault or distrust.

What do believe in?

I believe in my Lord Jesus Christ , that He died for my sins and on the third day after that He rose again and that by having faith in him We are forgiven of our sins and receive the gift of eternal Life.

What do you put your trust in?

I put my trust in The Holy Spirit that it will tell me right from wrong in all my situations.

Some Christians are easily confused with the concept of salvation since it is presented in the Bible in past , present & future verb tenses . We need to Go back to the basics , Let's start by taking a look at what the Bible says about about salvation.

1# But because of his great love for us , God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions it is by grace you have been saved.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God .
Ephesians 2:4-5,8

2# So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God , who has saved us and called us to a holy life , not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time .
2 Timothy 1:8-9

3# But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit .
Titus 3:4-5

The Bible teaches that all of us who have put our trust in Christ have experienced salvation , but we should not use this as licence to do whatever we want , The Bible teaches us that because of this gift of salvation Jesus has provided us a second chance to change our lives for the better .

This seris will be based on the devotional I am reading called free . Post #1 :

24Then Jesus said , "If anyone would come after me, he must deny
himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25For whoever wants to save his life
will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. 26What good will
it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can
a man give in exchange for his soul? 27For the Son of Man is going to come in
his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person
according to what he has done.
Mathew 16:24-27

Have you ever wished you had control of your life , I know I have , or have you ever wished that no one could tell you what to do , or that your parents wouldn't set rules & limites on your life ?
Sometimes we think that when we get out of or move out of our parents' home , we will be in charge of our life . Think about it , the Bible is clear with us that we will always be slaves to sin & this world or to God & the true freedom that comes with that we have the choice of who we will live for , Everyone who sins is a slave to sin . John 8:34 .As you can see the Bible makes it clear that when we aren't serving God , we are serving satan .

Even so consider yourself to be dead to sin , but alive to God in Christ Jesus . their fore do not let sin reign in yourself so you won't obey it's desires , so knowing this do not let any part of your body be a slave to sin . but present your self to God without being in slaved by sin , but an instrument of righteousness to God . Romans 6:11-13

God's Gift

Sorry I have not been writing lately , I have had the most busy week ever & my computer was not working . I feel that God is really changing my life in amazing ways I have tripled my bible reading(from 2 chapters to 7 chapters) and my devotional is absolutely awesome & is touching my life , I have realized that God has gifted me with an awesome family that I should not take for granted . We think that we can just fight with the people God has put in our lives & not make time to connect with our siblings &/or parents because we think theirs always tomorrow to make up that lost time but sometimes their is not a tomorrow . We waste away the little time we do have with them , thank the Lord I realized that I was doing this very thing with the gift God had given me my brothers and parents & changed it . Their are so many broken up families in our world , I am so thankful that God Has given me an awesome loving family that helps me grow in my faith.

Something I read in my devotional was that if we are truly a follower of Christ , we grow and learn in our faith every day and every moment of our lives . That hit me , I was kind of thinking of Jesus as a free ticket to Heaven , deep down I was saying I got admission to Heaven now it does not matter what I do , but I was wrong if we do not grow in God and change our ways than we are not truly surrendered to Him and if we are not surrendered than God cannot change us. I felt down , & was not growing in my faith ? God can changed that when I let Him , He can do the same for you.

He Forgives

God is so forgiving , He will forgive our sins if we confess it to Him . For us as humans it is hard to forgive . I know that it is so hard when someone really hurts you to forgive them , I am still working on that . When one of my brothers really hurts my feelings or I am angry at Him it feels impossible to forgive Him . I was reading the bible and came across the story of when people brought a woman to Jesus she had been found committing adultery . (I think it is amazing how He handles this) Jesus said:

"If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at
her."At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones
first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus
asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?""No one, sir," she
said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus
declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin." John 8:7-11

Is that great or what?! He does not stone Her, even though He had never sinned He forgives Her & then tells her to leave her sinful life & start new......free from sin and all the bondage that comes with it.I think that is what Jesus would have us do too

God Makes Us A New Creation

Jesus Christ loves us enough not to leave us lost and wallowing in the junk of this world . Like a butterfly , He changes us and He makes us beautiful and an image of Himself . We walk through the darkness and light up this world of sin and hurt , God molds us like a potter molds the clay on a potter wheel he makes us grow like a flower and one day we will be ready to bloom. Jesus changes us and touches our life to make it beautiful.I love God so much and he is still molding me to be who he made me to be . . . a perfect image of Christ.I am not perfect , just a human and need Christ just as much as anyone else I am learning new things everyday about Christ and am still young in my faith , but God is turning me into something perfect & when God is done molding my soul & character I will be ready to bloom.

God Is Good

God is so Good,when I get thinking about all the things He has given me & all the ways He has provided & has helped me through stuff,it is just amazing that He loves us even though we are sinful & He is awesome,pure,holy & Omnipotent.I have to remember that I am blessed by God and be thankful for everything,good or bad. So before I start complaining I am going to step back & Thank God for all the things he has given me.Amen,Amen & Amen!!!!!

Help or Hurt?

On Sunday My brother Ezra got hurt & we had to call an ambulance.As soon as Ezra heard that the paramedics were coming he started to get all scared thinking they were going to hurt him 'cause "In the movies when the ambulance comes someones hurt".Ezra's words got me thinking, how God feels,He could help us but only if we let Him,God see's that we are hurting & He wants to help us,we keep thinking that God is going to hurt us,when God is the only way to heal from that hurt!!!! In the Bible God keeps telling Humans what to do so clearly but we run & hide or just plain ignore Him & now I see the same things happening today.We all have to surrender to God to heal our pain , God has healed my pain & can heal yours to , it is amazing how He reaches out and touches your life,changes it and heals all that hurt.

Responsibility

Hello everyone,well after all that work my blog is up & running i'm soooo exited about sharing with everyone. I would like to commit now that I will write frequently, though it is fun to have a blog I have the responsibility that comes with it too.Like Jesus , He came into the world & lived what he preached , He took the responsibility,no matter how hard it was .It is very important to me to live what I say & to say what I do, I think that is one of the reasons I love Jesus so much because He wasn't fake He was true.........so true...... & I believe when we take on something we (like Jesus)should see it to the end.
